They are artists previously on the Newtown Festival 2021 lineup but now can’t be here for our new date ? Missing these wonderful performers already. Alpaca Social Club

The Alpaca Social Club is the bringing together of 2 kindred musical souls. Both musical adventurers and travellers, on different instruments and across a multitude of styles, Jon Sanders and Craig Denham are something of a live phenomenon.

Annette Esquenet

Annette Esquenet is a Kāpiti based singer songwriter who has a style all of her own. Her songs cover a wide range of topics related to life on earth.


Aqua Poodle has been DJing at infamous dance festivals and underground parties around Aotearoa since The Gathering in the late 90’s, with Aqua Poodle being a high priestess of ‘Divas on Decks’.

Common Unity Koha Cart

The Koha Cart is a makeshift café on wheels which attends progressive gatherings and runs on the gift economy.

Geena & Julia

A show that encourages the audience to actively think about how their actions are affecting the oceans on global stage and how they can make a positive change. 

The Godwits

Playing acoustic tunes about love and life, they go by the principle that more is less while aspiring to an orchestral sound with two guitars and two voices.

Hugo Grrrl

Hugo Grrrl is a drag king, a doofus and comedy and cabaret producer from Wellington, New Zealand that’s bound to leave ya with a smile on your face and a bit of glitter in your hair.

Jess Cornelius

Now based in LA, Jess Cornelius was born and raised in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne, Australia, where she released three critically acclaimed albums as Teeth & Tongue, receiving nominations for the Australian Music Prize and a J-Award in 2016.

Riki Gooch & Al Fraser

Presenting sonic vignettes, offering contemplative rhythms and haunting breaths reverberating from their hearts, crossing realms into Te Ao Mārama.

TUi MAMAKi is a vocal explorer, performer and composer, born in France, raised in Aotearoa/NZ and often found in Bulgaria.

Vera Ellen

Vera Ellen grew up in Naenae Lower Hutt and has been writing music since she was a highly emotional 10 year old.
