The BTD B*tches began in 2015 after watching New Zealand’s first hip hop video, Born To Dance. They’ve been bringing sass, enthusiasm and molten moves to adoring fans ever since. A hot favourite at festivals, bars and parties, when these B*tches hit the dance floor they own everything.
Newtown festival was our first public performance – since then we’ve performed at Cuba Dupa, headlined the Queers of the Galaxy dance party, danced at the Menagerie, the Little Boy’s Room, and Lux: Festival of Light, but we always love to come back to our home base, to dance with our friends in Newtown.
We love performing at community events, and reminding the crowd you don’t have to be Parris Goebel to get up and dance in front of a crowd.
