The T-Bone Trio present a soulful blend of high-energy Americana music played on guitars, banjos, fiddles and double bass. With close vocal harmonies and fiery instrumentals, the T-Bone Trio play an eclectic mixture of styles within the Americana genre, drawing on their backgrounds in Old-time, Bluegrass, Country, Cajun, Zydeco and Blues.
Comprising of Gerry Paul, Richard Klein and Aaron Stewart, the musicians were brought together not only by their love of music, but also their obsession with food, wine and beer. The three get together regularly in the capital to cook, sample Italian wine and play music. The last two years have seen the group playing shows at CubaDupa, Newtown Festival, Auckland Folk Festival, Festival of Lights, New Plymouth, Wellington On A Plate, Beers at the Basin, Tora Tora Tora and Beervana. Chosen for their entertaining shows and fun loving energy, the group had audiences shouting out for more.
