Welcomer is a 5-piece based in Wellington, New Zealand, centred around main songwriter Miles Sutton.
Their first single ‘Cicadas 3’ was a Student Radio Network favourite, reaching #1, as well as making #18 on the NZ Top 40 Hot NZ Singles chart. Our second single ‘A Steely Dan Covers Band’ saw the band sell out Wellington’s Pyramid Club for the release show.
In December 2022 they released their debut self-titled EP via celebrated New Zealand label Papaiti Records.
