Bringing bedroom pop to the stage, jqime embraces their signature blend of raw, confessional, lyrics with an empowering performance including passionate vocals, warm synths, and driving guitars.
jqime provides an immersive show, including crowd contribution and sing-alongs. Carefully selecting their setlist to suit their show’s audience, jqime always manages to get their audience going with the tunes! Scattering covers and originals, there’s never a dull moment. With a blend of intimate acoustic tracks, and energetic dance anthems, jqime creates a positive and empowering environment for their audience.
With the jqime project starting in 2021 and the band forming in early 2024, jqime has come 2nd place at the Regional SmokeFree Rockquest 2023, won Best Original Song at Battle Of The Bands 2024, 2nd Place at Battle Of The Bands 2025, and released numerous tracks recorded and produced fully in their bedrooms.
Entering (and one finishing) their final year of high school, jqime is a rising youth band in the Wellington music scene.
