Merging the sunny beachside of Polynesia with the heavy dancehalls of the Caribbean. Kong Kasi’s sets are a celebration of the dub mixing art form, utilising an 8 track mixer and live FX, Kong Kasi rearranges and dubs his own reggae recordings making every set and riddim vastly different from the last.
His set ranges from Roots, Obscure Roots, Rub a Dub to Rocksteady whilst incorporating flavours of Pacific Reggae and vintage sound system music. He has released music with labels Freddy Street Records and Mouthful Radio and is a member in the dub trio band Tui and the Star Time Afrojazz Ensemble. Formally known as KongDuctor
