Pricing & Payment

Stall Prices for Newtown Festival, Sunday 8th March, 2026
Stall Site Prices vary depending on the site size, the goods being sold (there is an extra levy for food stalls and a charge for the special licence if you sell alcoholic drinks), and extras you order from Newtown Festival.
Charities, sports clubs and community organisations who only give out information can apply for stalls from as little as $30.
Local retailers with premises inside the Festival can apply for half price stalls.
We offer discounts for people and groups running fundraising stalls for a good cause. Make your stall booking for the size and type of stall you want, explain in the notes section of your application what you would like to do, and the cause you are supporting, then email us and we will be in touch to discuss how much we can help.
Other discounts are sometimes offered to local artists and crafts people concerned about not being able to afford a stall – get in touch if you want to discuss this.
IMPORTANT:
- Stall sites are ONLY allocated to bookings that have PAID. The date you pay is one of the factors used in prioritising site allocation.
- Sorry but we are unable to take credit cards. Please pay online – scroll down for more ‘how to pay’ information.
- If you would like to pay a deposit and make an arrangement to pay in instalments please contact us to discuss this.
If you have a gazebo, caravan or food truck please make sure the size you request will fit your stall setup, including any tow bars or similar extras.
INFORMATION STALLS: available to Charities, Community and Sports groups only Information Stall site: 2m x 2m = $30 Information Stall site: 3m x 3m = $60 These prices are for information stalls only, nothing for sale – discounts are available for fundraising stalls for community groups and charities, email us to ask about this.
Additional Fees that May Apply
FOOD and DRINK STALL LEVY: $100, discounted to $20 if your food is pre-packaged to take home – for instance, jams, preserves and sauces – and there is no waste generated at the Festival.
A small part of this levy pays for the WCC fee charged for inspecting stalls selling food or drink at Newtown Festival, but most of the levy goes towards recycling and waste management costs.
If you have a small stall and are confident that you generate very little waste get in touch to discuss a discount.
TRESTLE TABLE HIRE: $35 for the first table, $20 each for second and third tables if you need more than one. The tables are oblong, 180cm x 76cm.
CHAIR HIRE: If you are travelling light and want to hire chairs as well as tables we can supply these at $8 each – they are the classic black resin style –![]()
POWER SUPPLY: Our electricity contractor has portable generators for power supply to stalls. These are only available in some areas, primarily in food stall precincts. If you want power and your stall isn’t a food stall this can sometimes be organised outside the food stall precincts but it isn’t guaranteed.
