Design a CREATURE Competition

Newtown Festival is running our first ever DESIGN A CREATURE competition.

We’re inviting tamariki between 5 – 13 years to draw a creature that captures the heart of Newtown. The winning image will be displayed around the festival and the winning designer will get a prize pack full of Newtown goodies!

Creature templates can be collected from local libraries or downloaded here!

The creature winner will be chosen by much loved honourable judge Karen O’Leary and announced on December 10th.

Deliver your completed creature entries to the collection box in your local library or send it digitally to [email protected].

Participating libraries are: Newtown, Kilbirnie, Island Bay, Miramar, Brooklyn, and Te Awe.
