deepState is the project of Jessica Morgan, a musician and producer based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her music is a journey of electronic experimentation, investigating the nuances of House, Electronica, Downtempo, Garage and Breakbeat. deepState has been described as “a prolific producer” by Undertheradar, “a heavy-hitter of the local Aotearoa electronic scene” by Sniffers and “a producer whose impeccable production and innovative vocal sampling is gaining her a reputation as one of the best in the country” by RNZ’s The Sampler.
