DJ Takas has been a part of the NZ DJ scene for over 20 years, in that time he has played throughout the country and abroad. He has held residency spots in Auckland, Wellington and Ohakune. Crow Bar, Suite Bar and Rakinos in Auckland, The Powder Keg in Ohakune, and many of Wellington’s finest venues; The Matterhorn, Laundry Bar, Havana, Parrot Dog and 5 Years at the helm of the legendary Sandwiches Nightclub, during which he supported every international that came through the Capital – Norman Jay MBE, DJ Marky and The Nextmen along with countless others.
Festivals and Private parties are where you’ll usually find him spinning tunes. Splore, Homegrown as well as Taniwhas den in Hinekura to name but a few.
Since having put down roots in the Wairarapa he is a regular at local spots such as Mesita, Tohi and Saint Sebastian.
