From Jersey (UK) Jamie Rose found the love of DJing through vinyl at 18. With Ibiza being the main annual holiday, Jamie developed a deep connection with house music. Constantly trying to learn what it takes to give the crowd ‘that feeling’ he knew from world class European dance floors and festivals. In the last few years Jamie has made his mark in the Wellington house music scene. Starting off in bars and working his way up to well-known venues and getting booked by the best event brands in Wellington.
Blending your favourite anthems with all the bass you can boogie at, DJ K-otiK brings high energy to any performance. He’s a resident DJ on the Radio Active Midnight Marauders show (Friday nights), has held a resident DJ role on the International Club Ready Radio show and is part of the Open Air crew, putting on events around Poneke.
‘Open Air’ founded by Jamie has become one of the go-to brands in Wellington for events by bringing the European ‘day session’ to New Zealand. With recent collaborations with Newtown Festival and Carlucci Land, Open Air is gathering momentum and a solid following.
