Now in their 23rd year, the Klezmer Rebs perform an eclectic mix of lively klezmer tunes, Sephardic Ladino love songs, sad slice-of-life story-songs from the ‘old country’, and some of their quirky originals and swinging ‘tuchas-shaking’ authentic klezmer dance tunes. Repeat offenders, the Klezmer Rebs played at the Newtown Festival in 2007, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018, 2023, 2024, 2025 plus they headlined on the main stage in 2011.
