Mercury Fèng (formerly Fèng) transports listeners to intimate dreamscapes by weaving together threads of yearning and introspection with shimmery synths, fuzz-laced guitars and her glassy vocals. In April 2025, MF self-released the album ‘archive for humble stones’, which saw the single ‘Heaving’ featured on the NTS Breakfast Show hosted by Flying Nun Records x Tonic.
Lucy 小凤 Beeler, the artist behind the MF persona, has previously released music as Lttle Phnx (a vowel-deficient nod to her middle name), under the now defunct cult label Crystal Magic Records. Mercury Fèng is Beeler’s emergence from the ashes as an artist more adventurous and poised.
