Pacific Connection are the current international bronze medallist chorus, the first NZ chorus to win a medal at the International Barbershop Harmony Society contest. Formed in 2019 they are led by Henrietta Hunkin-Tagaloa, Chad Va and Jeff Hunkin. Aswell as competitive barbershop singing, they sing a wide range of music and in 2025 released their first album Tethered by Tides. Members of the choir have also sung on the Avatar soundtrack, and they were lucky enough to perform at the Australasian Premiere of the recent Avatar movie. They are made up of 84 people from around the wider Wellington region.
