Road Closures and Detours for Festival Day

Only 5 more days until Newtown Festival 2025 !!

On Sunday 2nd March Newtown streets, including parts of Riddiford Street, Rintoul Street and Constable Street, will be closed for the festival. Buses will detour from 5am to 9pm, and a festival shuttle will run between Wellington Station, the festival, and Kilbirnie from 9:30am to 7pm. Plan ahead, expect delays due to traffic and detours.
