This Block hosts the Te Māngai Pāho & E Tū Whānau Tangata Whenua Stage outside Newtown School where the Festival Opening Ceremony will be held at 9:30am.

Emmett St

This street has lots of FOOD STALLS and hosts the Emmett Street Stage from 10.30am – 3.45pm, and the Afrourban Soundstage from 4pm – 7pm.

At the end of the street are the Filipino Village stalls. In the St Anne’s grounds you will find the Circus Stage and many free activities for Aotearoa Children’s Day, and the Pasifika precinct with stalls and the Pasifika Stage in Mercy Park.

You can walk through the St Anne’s grounds to Green St – through the gap in the ivy covered fence.
