This is a list of all the stalls expected at Newtown Festival, 8th March 2026
Festival Blocks 1 – 8 are in Riddiford St from north – south
Festival Blocks 10 – 80 are the matching side streets EAST
Festival Block 11 and 81 are the matching side street WEST
This list runs North to South, showing Riddiford St Blocks interspersed with the side streets. Some side streets have specialties – Emmett St and Rintoul Streets have food stalls, Green Street has art, crafts and community information. Wilson Street has the Wilson Street stage in a licensed precinct with a bar and food stalls. Newtown Ave has food stalls, Normanby St has art, crafts and community information, and Donald McLean St has food stalls and some special activities. Arney St is home to Little Poland, and Gordon Place has a wide range of free activities to enjoy.

This Block hosts the Tangata Whenua Stage outside Newtown School where the Festival Opening Ceremony will be held at 9:30am.

This street has lots of FOOD STALLS and hosts the Good World Stage from 10.00am – 7.00 pm
At the end of the street are the Filipino Fiesta stalls. In the St Anne’s grounds you will find the Circus Stage and many free activities for children, and the Pasifika precinct with stalls and the Pasifika Stage in Mercy Park.
You can walk through the St Anne’s grounds to Green St – through the gap in the ivy covered fence.

Green St
At the end of this street, on through the ivy-covered fence, is the Pasifika Stage in Mercy Park, the Pasifika stalls in St Anne’s grounds, lots of free activities for children, teenagers and families- and room in the St Anne’s Hall to rest and relax (toilets available, including disabled accessible toilet). Beyond the Hall are the Filipino Village stalls leading into Emmett St, with its stage and food stalls.
