Inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll of our parent’s era, The JayJs combine elements of 80s and 90s rock and the modern indie songwriting we all love, drawing inspiration through artists ranging all the way from Phoebe Bridgers to the Breeders. Sure, maybe one of our singers Lila is the only one who can actually write music, and yeah, maybe, the drummer can’t drum, the bass player can’t play, and the guitarist first picked up a guitar a year ago, but despite our struggles, we’re putting the cool back in schoolchildren with our hip, funky beats.
