

TK Paradza (Takudzwa Paradza) is a Zimbabwean-born singer, songwriter, music producer, and performer based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. Known for blending R&B and Afropop music, TK’s music journey is shaped by migration, resilience, and a creative purpose. Originally from Shurugwi, Zimbabwe, he relocated to New Zealand with his family in 2006 after his father sought refuge, a life changing transition that continues to influence both his music and his craft.
Recently, TK captured nationals attention at Afrosoul Festival 2025 in Auckland, opening performances for internationally acclaimed Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy , Darkoo and Victony, alongside respected New Zealand acts. This milestone is a testmit to his music journey in Aotearo while navigating multiple identities in a globalised world
In 2010, he released his debut single Mr Liar, featuring Deach from Smashproof, followed by his debut album Wallpaper in 2012. Around this time, his artistry reached new heights when he became a member of Titanium—one of New Zealand’s most successful pop groups. Titanium’s debut single Come On Home debuted at number one on the Official NZ Singles Chart and achieved double platinum status, launching TK onto major international stages alongside artists such as Jason Derulo and Mariah Carey.
Following his time with Titanium, TK continued to evolve artistically, studying Music Composition and later completing a Master’s degree in the field. His academic journey strengthened his technical and creative foundation, leading to collaborations with renowned New Zealand band Rhombus, with whom he continues to tour nationally. These experiences deepened his musical perspective, expanding his sound into electronic soul, dub, funk, and reggae-infused landscapes.
Alongside his work as a performer, TK has established himself as a respected producer and sound engineer, crafting emotive, modern soundscapes across Afrobeats, hip-hop, lo-fi, and electronic music. His latest release, Energy (2024), featuring Raiza Biza, reflects his ongoing commitment to innovation, collaboration, and cultural storytelling.
